The EU-40 Group organises a variety of events on a regular basis throughout the year – keeping in touch with the EU institutional calendar. The best known type of event is the evening networking event . In such events, participants can network and - foremost - have fun and some drinks with friends and colleagues. More recently, the EU-40 Group has launched its lunchtime discussion series . A well known authority on a certain topic is invited to comment and discuss pertinent energy issues with the participants. These types of events generally attract around 35 to 50 participants. In the future, the EU-40 Group also hopes to organise small (20 pers.) technical tours to energy installations in and around Belgium.
